Service Cost
 

Hi all,

Got my car bleeping at me for a service ~33,000 miles on the clock.
What price should it be :) I know it varies on dealer just wondering what everyone else is paying.

btw it 2011 model.

I think about £250 when I had mine done at approx 30k (at the dealer).

I bet that was just the Oil service. I think I'm on the main one now :(

550 for a Major Service not including the Oil change!
Includes all filters and 100s of checks apparently.

Is it supposed to be sooooo pricey?

thats crazy! where are you based? try another audi dealer or two nearby for comparison quotes then try a good local audi independant and see what you get! +++

Huddersfield. My A6 (2003) was about ~ 330 but that included the Oil.
I'm sure thats about right for a A8 .. newish one .. no?

It wasn't much more than that on my 4.2 petrol for the super-major one with the timing belt at the local Indy.

I'm expecting a 250-300 bill for my service (which is now due.. lucky me).

Why so expensive to change oil on an Audi.

Shouldn't you be able to get the £399 2 yr service plan for engines over 3 litre but under 6 litre?

Mine is a 2011 A8. Does this cover main service too?
If so I will inquire about this.

It should do - our 2011 s5 is covered. There's details on the Audi home page. My local dealer tried to get me to sign up to a monthly payment plan for services totalling about £1000 for 2 years!
