During the day there will be an aerial photograph and possibly glider flights. There will also be a talented photographer in attendance who may be coerced into photographing your car.

thebluewhale 20th May 2009 04:22 PM

Singh

How long is your drive?

Conan_the_Librarian 20th May 2009 04:25 PM

The program is up at the start of the thread.

Singh 20th May 2009 06:06 PM

Wish I still had my old A8 for the sound off

It sounded immense, hopefully its new owner will come along for the sound off..

Zip 21st May 2009 11:12 AM

Have a great day everyone...

...Unfortunately, I will be passing the Northern contingent travelling on their way South on my way up to Burley-in-Wharfedale for my cousin's 40th...then back South Sunday for my wife's uncle's 70th (I know, I know...)

Can someone record the "sound-off" so I can make a decision on an exhaust?

Very keen to hear the Milltek...

Zip

Conan_the_Librarian 21st May 2009 03:09 PM

further update at start of thread.

Singh 21st May 2009 05:29 PM

Are the two '6s not going to join in to make the A8 logo?

Singh 21st May 2009 05:32 PM

Flippin 'eck. I can't even begin to imagine what the formation after the A8 Logo will look like, will we even be able to fit 40++ cars in a line? Thats going to look spectacular! Cant wait for this!
BTW: Saw an A8 owner at the petrol station filling up in front of me in a D2 3.7 FL, told him about the meet and he looked at me funny like you sad sad little boy, seriously wasn't intrested, lol! To some people the '8 is just another car.

Conan_the_Librarian 23rd May 2009 07:16 AM

All,

Sorry forgot to add the costs in the lead post. It's £10 per car.

Reffro 23rd May 2009 03:41 PM

To answer the PM, I'm only a maybe now. I had a small accident with the car, parked the nose over a kerb and when I reversed it caught the undertray and ripped it through 180 degrees and pulled off the bumper........

Its at the repair centre now, I should have it back before then, but you never know. I'll know for sure next Weds.

A8_Tony 23rd May 2009 05:05 PM

Fingers crossed fella +++

ulfilias 27th May 2009 02:10 PM

Hi There,

Am unsure i'll make it. I am in Leeds on the Fri/Sat and will depend how things go there if i'm up for driving. Its kinda on the way home to Huntingdon....

Then again my beast will not be looking that imaculate....i still have trim bits out inside from the ongoing stereo install. The bumpers have a few notches and i'm missing a small side trim piece which i've yet to find a replacement for.

It will also be dirty and bug splattered and a touch shy !

Botang 4th June 2009 11:33 PM

I'm not sure which service you guys are checking, I usually trust what metcheck.com say, and they suggest light showers with 1.2mm rain falling between 10 and 4, hardly anything to write home about.
