Wanted N/S front bumper fog light grill

Audi S8 2002 bumper grill for the N/S fog surround.

If anyone can help.

Many thanks.

Rare as RSH and priced accordingly. Try asking our sponsors, they "may" have one.
There was even a discussion here about making a pattern to make a batch by 3D printing or similar.

I have been looking for months to no avail.

Thanks for the reply bud.

It's a recurring topic here, also methods of securing them so that they don't come off in the first place.

My new one will be welded on 😂😂

I had a similar problem trying to find a NS front wing trim for my PF in Ali Silver. Took 3 months and eventually suceeded by saving a ebay search for the item description and for any A8/S8's appearing for breaking. Got in quick and got a pair for £30 in the end. Might be worth trying this, if you haven't already.+++

I had the same on my last D2 in the end i got them from poland lhd car but grills are the same paid £18 for a pair.

If you get the part number off etka just type it into ebay.pl +++

I'm in desperate need of the full set up for both sides.

I've lost both grills & surrounds, plus i could do with the foglights themselves

I bought a new pair of foglights for my D2 a few months ago from ebay for around £50. The grilles are very rare/expensive, and I have mine tied on with cable ties! but what are the surrounds?

youve got the later FL one piece grilles jim whereas earlier ones like mine had 2 piece grilles comprising a fog light surround and a separate grille which interlock together at one edge +++

Ooh, not only well informed about '8s, but knows how to use 'comprising' correctly. That makes you a very unusual man, Neil! :)

I have a 2002 S8 so does that mean mine would be 1 piece ?

Also are the 1 piece grills specific to the facelift S8s or do any other facelift grills / fog lights fit?

Thanks

I think most at that time were one piece they look very different so you can see the vertical line to the inboard side of the fog light where the 2 pieces join up if you have earlier ones whereas the later ones are obviously all one piece. I'll try and get a pic of my earlier ones and post it for you. I would be pretty sure you must have the later one piece grilles as they changed about year 2000. If that is the case the part numbers you need to search for on ebay etc are -
Audi Part Number: 4D0 853 636 For the RH Grille
Audi Part Number: 4D0 853 635 B For the LH Grille

This is the later grille -

The fog lights are actually made by VALEO and I found a pair on ebay by searching for the part codes which are -
LH FOG LIGHT. VALEO Part 89395129 Audi Code 4D0 941 699B
RH FOG LIGHT VALEO Part 89395130 Audi Code 4D0 941 700B

If the brackets have broken tHen there's a good chance that someone has clobbered the front bumper on a low kerb at some time which tends to break them, if that is the case then they may also have damaged the large side bumper mounts which look like black plastic plates, in which case the front bumper may not pull in correctly to the arch to line up nicely +++
