bad morning made better by the audi

Well i woke up this morning to find someone had decided to break the glass on my passenger front door n in the 3/4 rear panel in the seat ibiza.

Have no idea why....they didnt take anything....funny cos my tablet was in glove box n wallet in side compartment on drivers side...plus testing equipment was in the boot...

The glass for both front door n rear qtr is costing 190 quid from tps...why breaking just one window wasnt good enough ...i ll never know....

anyhow....on the plus side i got the enjoyment of driving the s8 to work...so thats put a smile on my face....plus that who ever it was didnt take anything.

Maybe they were disturbed, or just thick?

Living in your neck of the woods, where I had attempted theft of a vehicle twice and theft of contents on 4 separate occasions, in the space of 4 years - I would not be leaving anything of value in the vehicle, whether on show or not

Glad the newly acquired S8 is proving its worth though +++

Sounds like the intro to a good old fashioned blues song! David will be along shortly, I'm sure, with a few examples :D

Sorry to hear about your misfortune Ranj, but pleased that you enjoyed the drive to work in the '8.

Not so smart tea leafs...

I once had my beloved Volvo 850 estate broken into one evening in a country pub car park near Newbury:my laptop bag - with Thinkpad inside - was visible through the hatch (as I'd not pulled the cover over :tuttut: ), but they decided to only take the half finished packet of bourbon biscuits instead. +++

Did someone say my name?
:)

I wish polycarbonate windows were easy to get and scratch proof, I'd love to see the look on their face trying to smash through it.
