That rings a rather large bell, like we supplied the engine... I seem to recall thinking it was rediculous to think you'd ever get the Audi V8 into an Mr2 at the time, but, it seems we may have been proven utterly wrong !!

Tidy job... There are some clever people out there with way too much time on their hands +++

Seen this before. There is also at least one in Mk2 and old Lotus.

The old Lotus was an epic thread, some great metalwork done too.

i was tempted to buy one of these a while back but it put me off having all the looks but not the sound ...

I hate replicas. Totally, I've laughed my **** of at lots of them in the past.

But that, actually, tbh, doesnt look too bad at all......

It doesnt say what the engine actually is, so yes, I think you'd need a decent exhaust note to pull it off, but it does look the part...

Exact dimensions means it's not based on a Toyota MR2. The only car that's pretty much the same dimensions, including the wheelbase is the Peugeot 406 Coupe. To the extent genuine Ferrari panels can actually be used, with little modification.

Looks great, I hope it's a 3,0 V6. On a 2001, it'll be the updated 210 bhp unit. A supercharger, and decent mape could see good power from that engine.

yes i have read that the engine can produce some good figures, but i would have to have a V8 purely for the sound and that if coupled to rear wheel drive 6 speed a4 box that would be a fantastic car to drive it would be like shaking hands with an old friend a manual S8 engine in a frame like that +++
