A trip to France

Well me and the D3 are currently in France. Crossed this morning to calais now heading to Normandy

Don't forget Arromanche, Pegasus Bridge, Caen and Bayeux.
Lovely area, but then I do know and like most of France.

We are staying in a gite about 15 miles from Vire. Lovely and quiet. Did not see anyone trying to get into lorries when leaving the calais end of the tunnel.

Know the area well, many coach trips over the years.
Rented a chateau in St James a few years back about 25 miles South West from you.

Paid a visit to Omaha beach today, still hot weather. Sad to think what happened here all those years ago.
