Question about central locking ..
 

On the SWB w12 (2004)I can start the car and get out and lock it via the button and leave it to warm up safely knowing someone can't get in...

How do I do it on my LWB W12 (2007) ?

I can't find the coding anywhere on the 04 to copy to the 07 ?

I used to do the same thing on the Q7 as you could keyless start, close the drivers door and put the key in the lock to physically lock it even though the remote fob wont work.

Problem with the D3 is, when you lift the handle to access the lock, the door opens.....

No idea on coding, never looked that far...

I get in and start with the START button, get out and lock the doors with the button on any handle.
I can't lock it if the key is in the car or key too far away from door.
Have you tried the buttons on every door? They all work with this on mine.
