RS6 Has gone.... :-(

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=370222919452

I listed it at 00:30 last Wednesday, and a very nice chap rang to buy it by 09:00 That 8.5 hours - Must be some record?

He collected it Friday and took her away :-(

Not really sure what to replace it with (or dare I say, *if*) to replace it right now, as I cant really stand a 15K car sat doing nothing, and as I dont drive it at the weekend, or need to drive it work, it was a bit pointless...

Still, frees up some cash to get the D3 side of A8parts moving along nicely, so watch this space +++

Sorry to break your record Ian, sold my old A8 in four hours. Good to know your getting the D3 side of things moving, the sooner us lot can start sourcing cheaper parts, the sooner we can justify upgrading to D3s +++

Sad for you Ian, but also happy;)

Good luck with the D3 - Look to change mine in a few years so will look forward to you being successful with it+++

Considering most people would have been in bed for 90% of that time period, it must be!

Must have been sad to see such a lovely car go, but as you say quite pointless for her to sit on the drive and I'm sure the money is better invested in the D3 business.

Now 2 near identical D3s...that is just plain silly!

Not as daft as it sounds.... Although they are both road legal and drive nice enough, they're not fault free so we'll make one 'good one' from the pair and the other will become our first breaker... +++

You know it makes sense...

Sounds like a perfect plan, Ian +++

Good luck with the D3s :) They come with their own special brand of joy...
