S8 D2 Wiper mechanism - Will an A8 D2 part fit?
 

Evening.

My wiper linkage is in rather poor condition and i've already taken the motor apart to give it a good clean since it barely was moving. Worked great for a week then back to utter crap and wipers will only move if i give them a helping hand..

So i could just replace the motor and hope it handle the worn out linkage or try to get a replacement. I can find several used that seems to be in rather good condition from A8 D2 but these are all without that little ekstra helping arm that the S have.

is the extra arm on the S version needed? after having everything apart its obvious that the arm is not driven by the motor or linkage in any way and seems more like some kind of support?

Will the A8 one fit on the S8 ?
