Nothing like the functionality of Vagcom

but would do in an emergency

personally, I would fork out the additional £100 or so for 'the real thing' +++

I'd pay the extra for VAG-COM.. Especially if you plan to end up with a CAN-bus car (D3, especially).

If you just want to be able to reset the warning lights, get the generic cable and the shareware VAG-COM.
