Try Bell.co.uk and admiral.co.uk, they seem to be about the cheapest.

im with admiral £450ish 26 years old, 4years ncb, oxford, 2002 S8 but the renewal quote was £950, amazing what a phone call can do

i found the best way was to ass about on elephant.co.uk then ring admiral as the own elephant and will match it. by far the best money saver is to put older second drivers on (even tho i wont let anyone else drive it lol)

I could do with looking around too.

Yup... I've been playing Elephant and Admiral off over the last couple of years... Chapest I could get this year was £650, but I do 20+K a year with business use and she had a bump last year.... D3 is also a bit more expensive than a D2.

I am with Admiral as well. I am 28, with no no claims because what I have is in use on my minis (cant use no claims on more than one car...) But I do have 5yrs + clean proven company car driving. Which apparently helps but I dont know how much. I have business use and my 22yr old girlfriend on the policy and its £800. I do however, live in east London which doesnt help.

Ohh and sod the Admiral multi car policy! both SPI mini and audi are with admiral, but when i add the two onto a multicar policy they want £110 more than insuring them separately?!!! the insurance on my SPI mini is only £125 fully comp! Whats up with that?! They almost double it on multicar

I personally hate insurance companies. They are the scum of the universe in my book. Because Insurance is compulsory they seem to forget that your actually paying them for a service. In any other industry their behavior towards their customers would not be tolerated. The sort of turn around times I hear about when people need to actually use their insurance is down right discraceful!

Sorry.... Rant over!

Well, i searched arround and Bell seemed to come up one of the cheapest at £516....Tried to speak to admiral to cancel the policy and they price matched it.....How silly !

£195 saved by a couple of web site searches and a phone call !

I'm with Bell. I liked the way their website allows me to add my mods and they accepted them all.

Woohoo only £341.45 fully comp with Admiral this year now (4 years NCB) - put my mother on as a further named driver (always seems to help to further reduce premiums lol), got legal cover included, use for business, lower excess (300) and that price is if you pay up front - if you spread payments with Admiral they slaughter you for over 25% more by removing your "discount for paying for a year up front" plus an 8.5% credit charge , so check the small print and the monies boys and girls. They even tried to offer "pay for 10 months and get 12 months no claims bonus" but when you look into this yet again they are making you pay - the difference per month for insurance was like £6 or £7!
