Can anyone confirm a $99 fee is payable for a new owner to register the cable?

only to register for technical support from ross-tech, assuming that 1. you need technical support and 2. the previous owner had registered already.

im fairly sure i havent registered with ross-tech, and i have the full expensive cable which does a lot of stuff for me :)

I re-registered a cable recently and it worked out about £64 after currency conversion. Was useful as had issues with my Bluetooth phone prep not communicating properly with vcds
