Swine Flu... Maybe ...
So, I've been a little quiet this week coz on Monday I went downhill very quickly... 8:00 Ian going to work , 10:00 Ian not so good, 12:00 Ian going home 14:00 Ian in bed with Flu... Bizarre.
Anyway, given the whole swine flu thing going round at the mo, took no chances and rung the docs, who decided that I should be on the meds, and stay at home all week... :-( But, to top it all off, the kids being young, and missus being pregnant, means they also needed the drugs, and also had to stay at home... What a mess.... No school, swimming, parties... Ooops. On the plus side, the tamiflu drugs they are dishing out are awesome... 18:30 felt like crap and took pills, 21:00 feeling much better and wondering what all the fuss was about.... Its now Thursday, feeling pretty good and still technically not alllowed to 'mingle' with the world.... Thank the lordy lord for the interweb... What the chuff did we do before it came along ??? |
My little one was sent home from Nursery last Wednesday with a Temp teh day after we were given a letter saying a child had been diagnosed with SF.
Rung the docs as advised by NHS Direct. Don't bring her in, just come yourself if you have no symptoms. Tamiflu for Siobhan, Relenza fro Julie ( 39 weeks pregnant at teh time) nowt for me. finshed their drugs on Monday am, Siobhan suffered from stomach ache a bit whislt on them but otherwise was just a bit tired/lethargic. Anyway, Siobhan fine and went back to Nursery yesterday, over half of children now off... Get well soon mate! |
