Senseless.... It would have been less sad if they'd just stripped it for parts... Guess it ran low on fuel and they didn't have the keys so it was a sitting duck. Interesting to the see the steel shell remain, but no sign of the bonnet / wings etc. that are not.... |
If the keys were still with the owner, then why didn't the car shut itself down when driven off, or am I missing something?

Car doesn't shut down due to keys not present, but if they didn't realise they hadn't got the keys until after they'd legged it, they would quickly have realised they only had the option to drive it until they had to shut it off and then it wouldn't have restarted.
The conspiracy theorists on facebook are convinced it's an insurance job and can't even understand it's not with the original owner now :rolleyes: |
