Tires, damn tires...
 

I have owned the car 19 months now, and have just purchased my 5th tyre for it...

Manage to happily do over 1000 miles around Brittany over 2 weeks, to return to my first day back at work to find a screw in the offside rear. Been running on for too long to repair.:mad:

So.... how much do you think 20" Pilot Sport PS2 XLs are running to at the moment.... £280!!! I've spent over £1500 on tyre in a year and a half. Truth is, I absolutely will not compromise on tyres even with this bad luck.

Jeez - I ran my old car for 7.5 years and never had a puncture.

Anyway, discover a tiny crack in the inside rim while the tyre is off, so taking the opportunity to refurbish all 5 at BJV in Flaunden.

I'm sure you have your opinions, but I'm going Black Chrome all round (a la E39 BMW M5). I'll post some photos when done (mid Aug).

When they're all worn, I'll move onto the remoulds.....not.
