D2 or D3? :Confused:

Technically it is possible as a retro fit however to do it correctly the bumper is different and would require a new bumper on the D3 to change from the round fogs to the square ones +++

It's just that Palmer has a D2......... ;)

I was thinking D3 ;) did the facelift get much more other than the fogs / led rear lights??

Facelift did get upgrades to suspension and soundproofing, other than that just cosmetic such as fog lights, rear lights and some chrome trims in the interior. Later facelifts also had 3G MMI.

Whats the difference between sport and Se, obviousely depends what boxes were ticked, but all it seems to suggest is suspension sits 20mm lower. Surely thats overcome by droplinks / vagcom?

From memory; lower suspension, 19" wheels, flappy paddle gear shifters, sport seats. There is an old brochure available to download here with full details.

Also, the struts are different, so yes you can lower the SE by 20mm, but it's not the same as Sport suspension.

There are lots of subtle differences between them.
