actually, $2.75 per gallon, and they're all up in arms here at the regular stuff (95 equivalent) creeping back up towards $2.50 a gallon (about 40p/litre).

I can fill a 12 gallon (imperial, approx 55 litre) tank here for less than 25 quid!
and it wasn't long ago when it was less than $2/gallon and $2 to the £ - those were the days +++

although maybe not for much longer - the 'increasing cost of fuel' (looxury!- said in a Monty Python northern accent) has already got them thinking and the government is offering a 'guzzler trade-in' similar to our old vehicle scrappage scheme...they're even talking diesel now, yes diesel!!

yeah... But huge v8 and v10 diesels...
