Tracking Running Costs
 

I wondered what the rest of you all use to track your running costs? I currently use Road Trip HD on the iPad and find it quite useful in working out exact mileage to costs, I started with a new vehicle entry for the S8 and so far no other expenses other than fuel have been entered (Major Service is on Wednesday), new front tyres to follow along with a hunter 4 wheel alignment

Interesting to see the difference between actual fuel consumption and what the onboard computer says when it lies to you :ROFL:

What's everyone else's typical running costs like on the D3 S8?

Who, me? I love my S8 :D. Even thinking of getting a 2nd one...

Is that the same fossil fuel we use to create electricity Ian :D

+1, Fuelly is a good app and website but I gave up in the end and just look at my bank account vs. mileage achieved on each tank to get a rough idea!

Fully looks ok, but it seems limited to just fuel, in Road Trip I can track service costs as well and use that to add to the running costs mix (although that might end up super scary in the long term)

Interesting to see that the average on the 4.2 TDI quattro is only some 10mpg saving over the 5.2 S8 though, I thought it would be much higher than that. Still huge range on a tank of diesel though
