sell the beast..service message
 

hello :)

the time has come to sell my beast, just over 105 thousand kilometres, and its time to say bye bye.
i live 1400 km from where i did the last service. the service message pops up every time i start the car.
audi informed me that i would need to drive all the way to barcelona to have it removed.
is there any way to solve this without driving cross-country?
i tried this but it didn´t work:

1. - Hold in the "000.0" button (trip-odometer reset, on far right of instrument cluster) WHILE turning the key to ignition.

2. - Release button and leave ignition key on.

3. - Push the "Check" button on the far left of instrument cluster.

4. - You should see a message saying "Next Service 10,000 Miles".

There must surely be an independent Audi/ VW specialist garage closer to you that can reset this with a VCDS?

I am i ayamonte, spain. The closest one is in huelva, but thats an official audi place. Audi faro (portugal) couldn't offer help or any contacts

so no lpg conversion ?

what year is your car ?
