Confusion - Lights / Bulbs

So I have had some faults coming on showing me a headlight failure. I have looked and the light has been like a red tinge but still working.

It then recovered, all good.

Then yesterday, no headlight on the one side, complete failure. No high beams either.

Today, its all working again.

I have a 2008 Facelift car.

Do I have 1 or 2 'bulbs' that are Xenons? Is it likely both bulbs can fail? Certainly if they both seem to have recovered, could it be the ballast / starter item?

Thanks

When they go pink purple ish it's a sign of xenon dying
You will only have one xenon bulb per side no matter if it's xenon or bi-xenon headlight.

Go to powerbulb.com they have very very good prices.
I have actually phoned Osram UK and they have confirmed that they are their approved partner and one of the big distributors so you will have guarantee of legit xenons as not only eBay but online shops are full of fake Philips and Osram xenon bulbs.
If you will have any doubts Osram assured me they will happily investigate product either in person by posting it or via email if you could provide few quality pics to confirm originality.
