Some years ago i was looking for the 'perfect' D2 S8, and the one below came up. At the time it was a bit more than I wanted to pay, but just wasn't sure i could live the with the interior colours! Pretty bonkers interior spec though huh?! I think it was originally an Audi demo car.

Shame about the non-Recaro fron t seats though.

That's a pretty unique looking '8: I wonder where it ended up?

I love it. Great colour combination +++++++++

Aqua blue and beige, is that? Very nice indeed but then I'm biased - that's the colour of mine

Not seen that sort of spec on a D2 S8 with the rear centre console before, and the extended leather dash tops it off nicely.

It was very, very much a one off.

The 'OV' plate gives a clue as to its Audi owned origins.

I think Amar posted a photo of it in an Audi center somewhere.

It is one of only three cars known to be UK registered with individual electric rear seats, but like the other one besides mine, its non sports seats.

Brown interior, blue leather dash etc. Its not the prettiest sounding combination that they could have chosen, but I bet it looked good in the flesh. Again I'm wondering if, like the final edition, Audi were trying to big up the concept of Gmbh / Exclusive customisation of vehicles. Timing seems right.

The reg doesn't show up on the DVLA checks, which is a good sign, suggests its still on a private plate somewhere being looked after. It'd be nice to think its still in original spec and cared for..... +++

Was OV similar to/same as OE then? - i.e. MK-based Audi UK Head Office car. It's a pity that the reg search doesn't link the original and the private plate...

OY is also a dead giveaway for Audi UK registered vehicles - still got the original plates for mine in the garage with Audi UK at the bottom!

I recognise aspects of that car - pretty sure I saw it for sale at a dealer some time ago, but don't recall the RSE. That might've been due to a lack of decent pics mind.

I rather like it, but the loss of Sports seats is a shame
