Your eyes are not deceiving you, we've been off air today....

I can sum it up in on word.

'BT'

However, we recognised some time ago, that it wasn't reliable enough solution for this forum and had a virgin circuit installed a couple months ago. Moving the forum was on my 'to do' list, and today it became a top priority.... +++

It was purely a line break, and the server is fine, so all your posts are exactly as they were.

Might be another 24 hours or so until DNS works its magic for everyone, but most folks should start to hit this new IP pretty soon....

Well done Ian, back up here (obviously) and from the symptoms I presumed it was something like that and that you would be aware and "on the case" when you could be. +++

Glad it's back, and for the all the behind scenes stuff that magically goes on without our knowing, like others said.

Well done Ian. My business suffered continuous daily outages with BT which they claimed were nothing to do with them. But since switching to Zen everything's been fine. Thanks to you an the team for all you work

Some well know acronyms:

1 - IBM - It's Been Mended
2 - LOTUS - Lots of Trouble, Usually Serious
3 - BT - Bloody Trash, Bunch of T**ts, etc, etc

Glad I've been otherwise occupied today, and never noticed the outage until about 11:00pm. Finally got access.

Thanks Ian, did wonder what at happened. Glad to here all is well with the database.

Oh Absolute sugar, We even went to bed early and watched Grantchester.
Well management did, I fell asleep.
I phoned A8 and had a banter with Carl, well the withdrawal symptoms were rather painful.
Ah well, all back now. As one of the original backroom boys (IBM during the 80 column card time) I had not realised how difficult it is without your main tool :love:

Thanks guys, yes a frustrating and busy day in London and Birmingham, yesterday, travelling and juggling this outage. But all's good now.

And I have to say, I think it feels a little quicker too which is nice +++
