AMI Compressed Formats
I noticed the seller of my car had a CD full of MP3s in the CD changer.
What formats can it read? I'd really like to fill it with tracks in Apple Lossless, but I fear the chances are slim of them being read. |
Your fears are correct, pretty much just MP3, and pretty sure it won't do lossless then either.
Its a common fear with D3 owners, and 320Kb/Sec MP3 is the best it seems to manage (in my experience) but to be honest, even though I'm a bit of an audiophile, even with the B&O I can't honestly say it lets it down any +++ |
Fiddlesticks.
Hmm... OK, thanks, IT! |
Worst case, just turn the music right down, and enjoy the engine +++
|
Ha ha! That's not a bad idea! :)

I am now using two hearing aids that have managed to restore a lot of my missing higher frequencies but I have to admit that though I record my MP3 tracks at 320 they sound the same as those recorded at 128.
But then I am just a Boring Old Fahrt now. |
