Lidl Oil Vacuum

Lidl oil vacuum. It's a cracking bit of kit. http://i366.photobucket.com/albums/o...9E648FCFB8.jpg

Pulled all the black stuff out powered by an old battery charger because of the battery's location on the D3/lack of +tive terminals under the bonnet.

Filled a few bottles up for the brother in law who wants the oil for whatever reason... Simplest oil change I've ever done. Bar the oil filter housing nut top being smaller than the socket I've used on previous VAG cars yet bigger than all my sockets. D'oh!

When I picked up my oil filter from Audi they even gave me a complimentary air freshener, which my 4 year old son thinks is amazing

Sure does make an oil change so simple +++

That is a rather nice air freshener! How much do those oil vacuums retail for? I may be tempted to do my own oil changes once I've got a driveway. +++

I got it a while back for £13 or something. It's great TBH

I did have to ask, because they'd been on sale the week earlier and were off the shelves when I went in.

Was a while back, but if you're passing it wouldn't do any harm to pop in and ask or give them a call. If I had stock lying round I'd want to shift it.

Doesn't it just Matt. Saves crawling around on your back, car up on ramps, replacing the sump plug and/or washer, faffing about with the undertray etc etc...

Much cleaner and quicker.

I still saw them in local Lidl in Rushden on Sunday. They usually have any special buys left over for sale weeks after deal ends in this particular store. We are lucky enough to have 2 Lidl stores in a smallish town. In the old one as soon as the deal is over stock is taken out of shelves, in the new one it stays on sale for a long time. If you want I can check tomorrow if they still have any. Forgot to say I have had their pump for couple years now.

Great club this. Great members. +++

We've got a branch in town so I'll try and pop in and see if they have one +++

I just don't go in there regularly to spot anything of interest
