Done and dusted

So, I finally got the last job on my list ticked off, I had the original wheels refurbished and refitted to the car. I intended getting the tailpipes and wheels done prior to attending the annual meet, and even though I won't be there now I pushed on and had the work done anyway.

I had them done at my usual place, the nearest TWS depot, I've had four sets done there now and can't fault them. They're a great group of lads and the constant stream of cars through the place suggests there's more than just me thinks so +++

Wheels refurbished, new centre caps, new valves, tyres transferred over from my FE wheels, that's it all done for now, I just hope I can manage to hang onto her after finally getting her to just how I planned.

Very nice! :)

As much as I love FE wheels, and I think they're the best wheels for a D2, the D3 really suits those more modern 'spokey' wheels.

Looking very nice Ron, mind if I ask where you got the new valves from, looks like I might need for the new family wagon+++

Nice... and just like mine you have reversing lights full of water... shocking quality rear lights on 70k cars.... anyway.. I digress !!

She's looking good Ron, my second set of face lift lights have done the same so it clearly a manufacturing problem or design issue, I may rip mine apart to see if I can do something about it
