Suspension bushes, best place to get?

Hey guys,

Here in Australia D2's are a very rare breed, and therefore most places dont have listings for any parts. Effectively I cant find any rear suspension bush listings through my normal sources.

Who's good in EU to buy from? reputable and hopefully will ship OS?

Help pointing in the right direction is greatly appreciated

Contact the forum owners directly - enquiry@prestigemotorservices.co.uk

They ship worldwide, and have plenty of experience shipping out to Oz +++

Ok, anyone else? ... someone that may wish to reply to an enquiry within 48 hours of it being sent?

Euro Car Parts (UK)
GSF car parts (also UK)
www.gsfcarparts.com

ECS Tuning (USA?)
https://www.ecstuning.com/

Your local Audi dealer? surely they can order parts in from Germany if required?
The UK Audi dealers order parts from Germany when they don't have them in the UK.

I remember some guys on the forum fitted polybushes. Not sure if it made the ride harsher than stock rubber bushes.

Rear bushes are likely to be dealer only. Euro Car Parts and GSF tend to just do complete arms, and then usually only the fronts.

ECS are pretty good at genuine parts though as noted ^, and usually have competitive pricing.

If our forum sponsors aren't able to help and you're stuck then I can also supply genuine parts and ship to OZ :) PM me what you need and I'll get you a quote.

Thanks Guys,

Mikki PM coming your way.

Not going near a dealer here, ... reason I was able to get the A8 at a good price was he bought the car (in very good condition tbh) and it needed front brake rotors, and was quoted in excess of $1200AUD for 2x.

I picked up 2x for $176AUD

Yup $1200AUD is nuts for 2 front discs. Probably not far off what a UK Audi dealer would charge when you add on labour, which they charge at £120 per hour.
But they are usually ok for some parts prices, if you are fitting it yourself.

courtesy of the links above from you guys, the bushes prices have been found at some good rates thanks.

Couple questions though, .. assuming the bushes are the bushes pressed into the arms?

There seems to be some well priced kits with front and rear arms and bushes as well that maybe also an option if the pressed bushes are going to be a pain in the a**?

Finally ... does anyone have the part numbers for the Rear Subframe front and rear bushes? these are seeming to be rather elusive!

Many thanks

I can check numbers for you later. If I remember correctly Elsa says that arms need to be heated up to press the bushes in/out.

In UK we change whole arms most of the time anyway due to labour costs and possibility of ball joints failing in near future at the other end of arm.
