anyone have any first hand experience where the oil filter housing on a pf 4.2 v8 on an r plate. differing info and the guides iv seen take into account that we knkw where they are

Yeah i've done mine a few times now. Assuming you have an ABZ engine it looks like this

Note there is a second drain plug that is the same as the sump plug, as the filter housing is higher than the sump and it holds quite a bit of oil.
If you buy a genuine oil filter kit it'll have 2 new crush washers for the plugs and 2 different size O rings for the filter housing.

mint i take it thats under the car and thats the sub frame i see, its a mann humal filter so as good as genuine 2 crush washers 1 large o ring ans small washer
