My local dealer has offered me an RS track day :D

I live really close to Brands Hatch, so naturally that doesn't make the list :-(

But I do have a choice of Castle Combe, Bedford Autodrome and Thruxton

Leaning towards Castle Combe as I know it's a challenge and having a go in a selection of RS Q3, RS3, RS6, RS7 and R8 V10 Plus around there appeals :)

Bedford I seem to recall visiting and think it's pretty much flat? Know nothing at all about Thruxton although it's the closest to me on the list!

Quite excited as never been brave enough to take one of my own cars on track :ROFL:

I run a dedicated track car and use it at Bedford a lot, it is flat but it's seriously fast, there is some double apex corners that catch people out an a tricky infield off camber section, and it's one of the fastest circuits in the UK, in an RS car that back straight and chicane section will be mega for testing the top speed acceleration

Last time I was there a v10 R8 was blisteringly hot round the circuit

That said, I'd only do Bedford if it was the full 4.2 miles GT circuit (which I guess it will be)

thruxton is an old airfield , fast but boring

from where you live Castle Combe looks a no brainer
