USDM Front Bumper Amber running lights
 

Hi can anyone tell me how the amber running lights located on the front bumper on USA models work please.. when does turn on & off... with the ignition on or only when the engine is running.. and also has anyone attempted to retrofit those on their car?

I'm still looking at the wiring. I think they run off the side lights.
I'm tempted to do it that way depending on how much wiring is needed.

fitting is easy, just need to new rub strips and the orange bits.

It's illegal in the UK to have amber side lights or side markers on a car.

Why would anyone want them ??? They're hideous IMO. :Confused:

That's what I was thinking. My brother has a 530D and I noticed the amber lights in the top corner of the headlight unit. Maybe they get away with it because it's integrated into the unit.
