Original factory wiring question

How is the factory towbar wired? I see many westfalia/audi towbar modules on ebay but none of them include the cables or they are with cut off wiring. I'd like to do an oem integration however if I look up the parts catalog number, that wiring kit it comes with an aftermarket westfalia 'box' that is just square with a single row of crappy crimp connector pins. Who could show me how the factory wired the towbar?

I used this kit for mine many moons ago, required VCDS coding and worked with other modules such as suspension and ABS just fine...... Same coding as OEM in-fact.

What does your module and wiring loom look like?

I sold the car over a year ago, but from memory just like this...

vs the OEM one which looks like this

This is the VCDS output for the Westfalia option, note the part number reported

Basically the Westfalia bar and wiring kit are the same as the OEM, and were supplied by Westfalia to Audi for them to add the logo and their margin +++

So when you installed it, the trailer connector just plugged in, and the wiring loom also plugs in, and on the car end you need to push some pins into the pre-wired/fused fusebox?

edit: why the F* does everyone just cut off these looms... what do they expect you to do with just the box on ebay 8-|

Two plugs to the trailer control unit, a few connections to the fuse box and also a couple of pins to other control units - all in the PDF instructions I attached earlier.

I suspect it is an economics of breaking a car thing, pulling out looms costs more than they are worth

So all is installed as per factory/oem. I'm just missing 3 fuse holder crimp connectors (the ones that you push into the rear of the fuse holder next to the boot motor).

Has anyone got the part number for these separate crimp connectors?
