Havent been on for a while chaps but I recently found a company who supply the biggest 385mm fronts and 335mm rears in drilled and grooved for a decent £685 quid.
That price also included some ebc redstuff pads for front and rear. The discs are Mtec black edition, the protective coating wears from the main surface but prevents the hubs from going rusty. Straight bolt on swap for these with no issue at all! Front discs weigh in at 17.5kg each and the rears are 7.5kg each.
Ignore the pic of the fronts as i had a blonde moment and didn't check the groove pattern before install haha.
I did sort it out though so all good.
Will bleed the brakes next weekend as the fluid is a bit dark and crappy looking!!

That's a really good price. +++

Yeah i was pretty happy about that to be fair. Still a bloody horrendous amount of money really for discs and pads but considering the car it wasnt bad.

MTEC are great for discs, sorry to say this but I would avoid the EBC in general and red stuff pads specifically, i've used them a few times on cars over the years and they really don't fare well, the kick of loads of dust and the pads glaze quickly, they squeal and the CF is low as well, meaning they bite less.

When I upgrade my S8 brakes I will be going carbotech, probably XP08 as their CF is much higher and they bite like a hungry rottweiler.

I know you already have these, so makes sense to run them as you have paid for them, i'd be interested to hear of your experiences as hopefully they differ to mine in the past, I don't mean to sound negative, but just commenting on my time with them.

I thought I would try them out, the grooves in the discs will re cut the surface of the pads so they shouldn't glaze over.
I run Mintex pads on my other car with these discs and the bite is awesome. Im going to buy another set of pads and see what the real difference is.
