1998 Audi A8 (D2) ground (earth) connections
 

Are there pictures showing the locations of the electrical ground (earth) connections for a 1998 A8 Quattro (at least for the central electric panel)? The written descriptions are too vague to be of much help given the hidden nature of the connections.

I would like to clean and renew the electrical ground (earth) connections because of some strange problems that intermittently occur. I had thought that this would be a more-or-less common task, but searching the forum has not helped to find the locations of the connections....

Anyone?

At the front on the passenger side in the foot well, remove the carpets and remove the wooden front to the electrics box. Get your head in and look up and left and you will see a lot of brown wires going to severely earth's.

Above the battery, behind the liner is another one.

And the big connections under the front drivers side behind the wheel arch can also cause issues.
