New A8 Questionaire

Evening chaps
Has anyone else had an email from Audi UK asking their opinions on the possible options on the new A8's interior
Seemed aimed at things we would like to see as standard, only a few quick questions around things like :-
Cruise control
Wood/Black effect inlays
Seat Ventilation
Sporty exterior styling (i.e. like S line) S line trim option ...would I think this would be a good option??
Chrome or black mirrors and grills etc.
Adaptive Cruise
Is the CD muti disc required ..
what I would like to see as standard

One of those rate out of five tick box thingy's
Looks as though they are finalising the spec sheets for the models +++
Had my V8 a year now and have been looking at the S8plus lately seriously tempted!

Must be more prudent with money Must be more prudent with money
Cheers Glyn

Yes Ive had one of those - frankly I'm worried that if I'm honest about all the things I'd love to have as standard then the average price of the new D5 will go up!!

Note to all manufacturers:
Audio systems that can play FLAC please - some of us like good sound quality!!!!!

Oh - and USB inputs (stackers are old tech these days surely).

To be fair, the MMI in my mates RS3 does play FLAC (and he's now thankful that I introduced him to the format - he's ditching his MP3's!)

I'd go with this as well, its such a pain not having it in my D3 as all my library is FLAC with the exception of maybe 20 DSD format albums. I have to downgrade to play them in the car.

My apple library is lossless at home (didnt know this was called flac) and i load up what i want in the car on an 80gb iPod "old"model in the car, so i dont get the library picture show either. Takes up a lot of spece but the difference is noticeable imho.
To use the sd card slot for a quick upload i have to run another itunes with the lower spec files so agree this would be useful and those with b&o would definately benefit. Dont use the hard drive much its too much faffing about waiting for it to load ;)

If its apple's lossless its probably AIFF files not FLAC, unless you are running VOX? or via a NAS as a server via iTunes? (sorry for O/T)

Yea my home itunes is stored on a nas server i changed all the sound surround gear recently and set up a 4tb dual nas drive works a treat
