S8 in From Paris With Love
 

Saw a trailer of a rubbish looking film tonight at 9pm on Channel 5.
It had a car chase featuring a nice D3 S8 so may be worth recording.+++

Are these are just a quick spray jobs after multiple takes and damaging the car each time ??

Also I doubt this is S8 and front sits way too high especially at this speed.

Probably so they can dress a bunch of 3.0 TDIs to look like S8s - the one in your link the exhausts are a dead giveaway it isn't an S!

Probably jacked up/stiffened suspension for stunt work.

I know some of the camera cars g&h use over here on sets have beefed up suspension to cope with the extra weight of rigging and cameras

I happened to catch that exact scene when I was channel-hopping last night. Rather silly.
Didn't bother watching the rest, especially as it was fairly near the end.

I liked that movie.
Really enjoyed it.

Doesn't mean its a good film though.

Standard headlining, as mention no boot lid or silver mirrors, twin pipes instead of quads, no S8 badge on the grill, no carbon trim etc.

I didn't like the movie personally, but it wasn't the worst I've seen. A8 made it up for it +++ (that's why probably director used this car because he knew script wasn't that good :D)
