As an update;

I also have the following;

MMI 2G video interface module for Reverse camera input
It plugs and plays with the control head and screen cable and sends the reverse camera feed to the MMI screen automatically on reverse.

This allows Bluetooth audio streaming to the car through the AV inputs in the Tv module. Works flawlessly.
