A8 Parts Forum - Annual Meet 2018: Overflow hotels

Since the Durker Roods hotel is now fully booked, I've started making enquiries with several nearby hotels to act as overflow accommodation.

I will provide the hotel details here, as and when they reply, with information about rooms and availability.

I'm not personally recommending any of these hotels, since I haven't visited any of them, so it may be worth checking out reviews on TripAdvisor, Google, etc before booking.

Please let me know if you book any of these, or if they become fully booked, so that I can mark them as such.

We have The Stable Suite ( can be set up as a Twin or as a Queen size Double ) and The Valley View Suite ( Double ) available for the dates that you have mentioned. Please see our website for details and, if you wish, Tripadvisor for what some of our previous guests have said about Ackroyd House.

During high season we have a " Two Night Minimum " booking term for a weekend ( Either Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday )
At the moment both Suites are available for the three nights.

The tariff would be £90 per night including breakfast for two ( again please see our website for details of The Ackroyd House Breakfast Experience )

If any of your members would like a long weekend break,we offer the third night at a discounted £75 per night ( either the Thursday or the Sunday )

We do have availability for both dates in our Retreat Apartments. There are seven available in total two of these apartments can hold 8 guests, two can hold 6 guests, 2 for 4 guests and one for 2 guests. The apartments also offer a spa area which includes a jet pool, sauna and gym equipment and a car park.

Prices range from £135 for the apartment for 2 guests to £225 for the apartment for 8 guests. The apartments are charged per room.

We have all of our accommodation available for the dates you requested.

We have two double rooms in the house and an apartment where up to two couples can stay.

Our rates include breakfast, we can also offer off road parking at the back of the property.

Double occupancy for bed and breakfast costs £75.00 per couple.

Single occupancy for bed and breakfast costs £50.00 per person.

The Bobbin room has a king-size bed and a sofa bed whereby two persons can be accommodated. This has a separate bathroom on the same floor.

The Thimble room has a double bed and an en suite shower room.

The Vault, our apartment, has a king-size bed in the bedroom and a double sofa bed in the sitting room. The shower room and separate toilet is shared.
