Plastic instead of wood
 

Did we ever get the black rubberised plastic as per:

I fancy changing the wood in mine, ideally to the black walnut, but i thought this might be a cheaper option.

Mr. K pleasee give me first refusal on your old wood. I hate the one in my car currently with a passion.

The other option is carbon wraping, but im not sure it would suit the 8 very well.

I'm not sure of what the name of the wood is, but its the same of this. (Pic taken from A8 Parts eBay store.)

just a quick point, the ad says no accidents ever, then goes on to mention the wooden sign it whacked and needed a new wing for...........doh!

Thats cool, i too am after dark wood, the almost black walnut.
