Valve spring replacement
I think I'm going try and replace the valve springs without removing the cylinder heads. In my Google search, if you don't have a air compressor, you can use nylon rope to into the cylinder though the spark plug hole and slowly turn the engine by hand to raise the piston to the top which allows the rope to hole up the valve so you can use a valve spring compressor to remove the old spring and install the new one. I know these engines have cam shaft chains (I actually don't know this, does these cam shaft chains only go around the intake and exhaust cam shafts or does the chain goes around both cam shafts and something else?), my question is do I have to completely remove the cam shafts from the cylinder heads or is the enough room to hold up the cam shafts (I know I have to remove the cam rockers) to be able to replace the valve springs?
Any other tips/suggestions to help with doing this job?
