Front screen
 

I'm thinking of replacing my front screen as it's a bit mottly ,and I want a genuine screen ,i'm assuming theses will become NLA in the not to distance future ? Also will auto glass or the like do a genuine screen and does anybody have an idea of cost

Assuming you do it on insurance it will be whatever their excess is.
My D2 screen is being replaced on Monday by Autoglass for Privilege, no problems on stock. £75 excess is my cost. So I would assume D3 won't be a problem for ages.
My Volvo screen was replaced a while back, different insurer (Aviva) and that was totally free, even though it needed all the tech, rain sensors, cameras etc, setting up afterwards.

I had a hooligan kick my drivers mirror a couple of years back.
This broke the mounting and a replacement cost me £300 including free install, but it took Audi over five hours to actually complete the task.
Physical replacement took very little time, it was the learning curve they had to go through setting up the cameras and other high tech stuff.
Mind you it was nice being looked after by the young ladies, endless cuppas and sweet cakes.

Got my rear window on the D3 S8 replaced back in 2019 after a suicidal chimney pot took it out from the second floor. Got it sorted with Autoglass and with a genuine replacement. It did take them three attempts and all covered by the £75 windscreen excess on the car insurance.

All went well with no problems, though it was done under MJs supervision at her workshop so must have been the right glass; she dealt with all the trim too (presumably) to make their life easier and the end result faultless. +++
