My A8 D2 4.2 V8 Quattro progress
 

Hi all,

This thread is to share with you all the progress of getting this beauty back on the road.
It was sat on a farm when I found it hadn't been serviced for years and needing some well needed love.
This is as it is now all I e done so far is driven it to where I work to get it on the ramp and have a look.

We like photos, welcome along. We're a friendly bunch and there is a combined wealth of knowledge here on the forums.

Thanks for the welcome.
Here are some more pics of the underside as you can see there are an abundance of oil leaks I need to sort out.
So far I've bought

Gearbox rear seal
Boot struts
Rocker cover gaskets
Gearbox filter kit

To do list so far is

Rocker gaskets
Gearbox rear seal
Gearbox service
Engine service
Indicator lens
Stop the water into the boot and passenger front foot well
Replace the front suspension arms
Then get it mot'ed
Fix the rear electronic blind
Replace speakers as most are blown
Get it resprayed in the original silver
And that's It for now but no doubt it will grow
