Strange clicking noise
 

Hey all

Been doing a ton of maintenance on the S8 over the weekend and I thought I'd trackle this strange clicking noise I've had coming from the suspension.

I adjusted the 18mm bolt as there was some slight knocking coming from the steering and adjusting the bolt has eliminated this but the clicking noise is still occuring.

I couldn't see anything wrong with the arch liner, dust shield on the disc, or anything else for that matter. Any ideas what this could be?

I've come across several threads like this, and the most 'popular' explanation is the wheel bearing being the culprit. Here's one such thread (I've linked to the most relevant post in the thread), so it may be worth investigating that:
