Today I got to do the Wife..........s Rocco

She won't let me drive it so I s'pose I have to do with detailing it. ;)

So, the products

Neutral PH Snow Foam
Dodo Juice Born To Be Mild 250ml
Poorboy’s Clay Bar XL - New
ClearKote Quik Shine
Poorboy’s Super Swirl Remover SSR2 Light/Medium Abrasive Cut
Poorboy's Super Swirl Remover SSR1 Light Abrasive Cut
My trusty porter cable DA polisher.
Medium and light pads
AG SRP
Poorboy’s EX-P (Sealant)
Collinite No. 915 Marque D'Elegance
Poorboy’s Trim Restorer
Meguiar's Endurance High Gloss Tyre Gel
AG Fast Glass
Loadsa MFs

The process:

Snowfoam
Pressure Washer
Clean the wheels with wheel brush
Scrub the tyres
Pressure wash inner arches
Rinse with scrubbed water!
Bought one of these:

Gives me 2ppm water so no physical drying required and no water spots and I can wash in direct sunlight. Bought it here.

Then into the garage and clay bar and QS lightly. Car was new but surprised by bonded containments coming off, then again it is 5 months old.
Inspection shown only the bonnet with some spiderwebs and a few minor blemishes on the roof. So 2 hits of 2.5 on the bonnet and 1 of 1.0 on the bonnet and rest of the car.
A single coat of SRP and hand buff off.
A single coat of Ex-P and hand buff off.
One coat of Collinite today and another tomorrow.
Trim restorer on all the plastic and Megs Endurance on the tyres.

The results?

Looks awesome Mike! lovely colour car too! I bet she was watching you with her beady eyes every second whilst you slaved away to make sure you weren't slacking  whilst it won't win you any thing, it WILL have the reverse effect and stop negative thoughts about you and any time spent outside working on cars for just a few precious seconds! :D

Looks great Mike.

Must be good starting off with a base car that's got little defects to start with, no? +++

Looks great mate!

Hey, is the rowing machine secured to the garage wall for practice incase your ship sinks?
I am now picturing you sat on it singing inspiring songs that you would be barking at your crew!
