Wanted: A8 D2 Westfalia Factory Tow Bar
 

I’m about to embark on an expensive journey to get my 1998 D2 fully restored.

To justify the cost it needs to be able to tow 1800kg, which necessitates a 90kg nose weight. The only tow bar made that can handle this was the factory detachable one.

The other aftermarket options are limited to 75kg nose weight so I can’t buy one of those off the shelf.

Anyone got a factory towbar they never use and want to make a few bob!?

£400 if it has the OEM wiring loom to fit a Pre facelift?

£200 for just the hardware and no wiring?

It has a wiring loom, but I never got around to fitting, so I can't tell you much about it
