Fixing the B pillar gloss black trim
 

My passenger side trim is flaking and annoying me. See picture.
In reality it doesn't look quite that bad as I chose the angle to get a good contrast!

Reading up it seems that replacing it involves a LOT of work removing interior trim to get at the fixings - a "mission" I'm reluctant to attempt. :tuttut:

Has anyone managed to fix such issues in situ, if so how?
