Struggling to get PR codes
I need to order some parts but I need the PR (build) codes. I don't have a user / service manual and there's no sticker in the wheel-well.
I tried Audi customer service phoneline but they said they couldn't help and told me to contact my local Audi dealership <COUGH>Carlisle Audi</COUGH> but they are just plain ignoring me. Likely too much like hard work ╮(╯_╰)╭ Anyone know of another method, or friendly dealer who can help? Thanks |
Out of curiosity, I contacted my local dealership (Belfast Audi), and after explaining it, and someone speaking to the 'parts department', they came back and said they couldn't do it.
It seems that somewhere along the line, this functionality has been removed from their systems. Not sure if it's relevant anymore, but the printout from the dealer was simply called a 'Car Data printout'. |
You can get them on eBay, I used it before for Q7 as I do not have manual and the sticker on spare wheel we'll is faded unreadable. Here is one example, it's just the first one I found it might be different seller than what I used and there might be cheaper offers.

I paid the eBay guy for the PR codes (and engine / transmission codes etc) so I've got those stored away now :)
