Brake Pad warning on DIS
If it comes on, it stays on until the key removed, so plainly it's trying to tell me the pads are worn.
Next day, no warning though. Day after that, warning back on again. Pads look OK. It's a minor irritant but the only one the car has.:) How to fix?? |
I had this sometimes, but not lately. try this.

I have done this mod as I have custom front brakes. Check first it isn't the pads by putting a short jumper wire into the car side of the connector in the wheel arch, one side at at time when you have the light showing.

I get this too because i have a semi (:)) broken plug, unfortunately it's the car end that is broken. Looks like at some point a heavy handed mech has forced it off. So when i go over a bump BEEEEEP, sometimes even a cats eye is enough to set it off.
