Gears grabbing
 

Hello everone

New to this forum,but have a 2004 3.0 tdi A8,when driving it seems as the gears are being held longer than usual then grabs the next gear,also when slowing down it does not seem to be smooth,as though it is grabbing at the gears,any advice would be greatly appreciated

Get the oil and filter changed mate. Massive difference.

Thanks for the reply,i had my car in at Wearside Audi last Wednesday to see what they thought,they test drove it and said it was very smooth,they then said they would plug it in to the computer to see if any faults,not one at all,they advised against changing the oil as they are sealed for life,i have already spoken to Les at Advanced Transmissions in Billingham and have decided to get the gearbox serviced anyway,just for my peace of mind,my car is back at Audi tomorrow to have the four wheel allignment done,isnt it expensive when you want everything perfect

Yep I finally got my suspension working properly now :) YEY! Poxy sensor.
