How many rear lights
 

It may be because my car was originally Italian, but having checked my rear lights before a long journey I was surprised to find sidelights - two on the right and one on the left. Left hand inner [boot lid] fitment absent. Brake lights one each side. Fog lights one on the right.

Can ayone point me to a wiring diagram?

Sounds exactly like the issue I thought I had on the rear of my 2002.

The left hand rear only seemed to have the outer boot area to light up whereas the right side had the whole unit light up.

Looking carefully you should fine a small fitment at an angle on the right side of the left lamp, accessed from within the boot.

As you say if you look at the right hand lamp then compare with the left it looks like you are missing the holder and wiring on the left!

Yep. Its at the side. The fitting in the centre on the drivers side is the fog light.
