Timing out before completion of post
 

I have had a couple of reports of the forum timing out before people complete their posts. I can't find anything wrong in the settings and don't suffer this myself. I would like to get an idea on the extent of the problem please just vote on the situation closest to your own.

I sometimes get a time out on rare occasions Mike but bigger problem is the system telling me that I "have a security token missing" when I try to post pictures, and that I should contact my administrator- any ideas??? :Confused:

Can't be sure of how long it takes to time out, but it almost always does within 2 minutes. Posting photos is close to impossible as it times out before they can be uploaded.

I've taken to writing the posts in Word and then pasting them in

I used to get the timeout problem Mike but i clicked the Remember me box and now get no trouble at all

No problem apparent for me - incl when I posted all the pics of the new beastie

I tried ticking the 'remeber me' box.

It wouldn't let me type anything in the 'quick reply' box, so now I'm using 'post reply'

I'll leave it 3 or 4 minutes before posting to see if it it works.......


....OK, 4 minutes in, here goes (isn't this exciting?):ROFL:

And now the 'quick reply' seems to be working. I'll time this a little longer.....PC says it's 09.19 now....

I think Dezzy has found the cure. Last timing test...it's now 09.29.....
