N156 Intake Manifold
I scanned my engine today using a VAG COM and it came up with N156 Intake Manifold. There seems to be nothing wrong with the engine, no misfires etc... Any ideas where I could start looking?

Thanks Conan, It did feel really sluggish once when I put my foot down at higher revs, but seems okay now (unless I've got used to it) I havent got a clue even with them instruction where to start still! :(

Thanks Mike, Call me stupid, but still not really sure where to start from, where is the vacuum hose  I wont be able to check the output as im cr*p with electrics, I will have another read, and check the fuse. I have to say though, the car was really sluggish yesterday, then I stopped and turned the ignition off to put some screen wash in and I couldn't believe how it was picking up, felt like I had a lot more torque and general power. Could this be due to this valve, deffently wasn't my imagination. Car was transformed.
P.S Is it me or is Audiworld the most confusing forum in the world!? |
Does anyone know which fuse if for the inlet manifold valve? Thanks

Audiworld is old skool forum style. You know the yanks. It's Amerikan it's gotta be right!

Where did you go with this ???
I seem to have the same issue and a similar lack of expertise! Ta, Lee |
I genuinely cannot remember, what I do recall though is replacing some sort of sensor, I got the part from Audi (about £40), that could have been a coolant temp sensor though.
